Description

In the aftermath of the October 2013 government shutdown, the Public Lands Alliance (formerly APPL) did extensive research with members to determine how the shutdown affected them. Nonprofit public lands partners wished they had been more prepared to address communication challenges and to advocate more effectively with Congress. In this webinar, Executive Director Dan Puskar presents on the importance of speaking to Congress and local representatives and what public lands partners can do to engage in advocacy efforts.
